Catholic Family Services of
Durham provides inclusive services to anyone in Durham Region. The
agency offers professional counselling as well as educational programs
designed to improve the interpersonal skills of individuals and the
quality of family and community life. CFS of Durham assists
victims of family violence to obtain protection and safety and to
strengthen their lives. It also works collaboratively with other
community organizations and parishes and develop preventive programs to
reduce the incidence of family violence. |

Through its Parish Social
Ministry program, Catholic Community Services of York Region is a member
of the Coalition for Affordable Housing in York Region working to help
low-income families to become free of the vicious cycle of poverty
across generations. In York Region, this agency helps people with
personal, marital and family problems, offers individual, couple and
family therapy, and provides family life education. In addition,
CCS of York Region provides settlement and integration services to new
immigrants in over 20 different languages or dialects. |
