Contributions to ShareLife can have a bigger impact than ever this year through the ShareLife Community Challenge!

A generous donor has pledged to match all new and increased gifts to the 2010 ShareLife campaign, up to a total of $500,000. If you are a new ShareLife donor, your gift will be doubled. If you have given in the past but didn’t contribute in 2009, your gift will be doubled this year. If you’re a regular ShareLife donor and you increase your gift from the amount contributed last year, the increase of your gift will be matched. Help us to maximize the impact of your gift to ShareLife this year.

How does the matching program work?

Contributions toward the parish campaign, corporate campaign (both from corporations and Corporate Patrons) and the schools campaign will be counted toward the Challenge. Calculating the impact of your gift is easy!

Renewing Donors: MAXIMIZE THE IMPACT of your ShareLife contribution this year. If you contributed to the 2009 ShareLife campaign, and increases the amount of your gift in 2010, the increase will be matched.

Example :

Your 2009 Donation	$ 150
Your 2010 Donation (an increase of $50)	$ 200
Matching amount by the Donor	$ 50
ShareLife receives:	$ 250

First-time donors: DOUBLE THE IMPACT of your gift to ShareLife this year. If you did not make a gift to the 2009 ShareLife campaign, your contribution in 2010 will be treated as a new gift and will be matched 100% by the donor.

Example :

Your 2010 Donation (considered as new donation)	$ 300
Matching amount by the Donor	$ 300
ShareLife receives:	$ 600

ShareLife agencies identified more than $800,000 in unfunded needs this year – your gift could help shorten waiting lists, open new shelter beds, and serve more meals for those in need around us.
