TD Bank Financial Group has generously contributed a record $100,000 to the 2008 ShareLife Corporate Campaign.

Business Community Committing to 08 Campaign

(March 2008)  With just over half the campaign completed, we are experiencing strong results with a total of received and pledged donations of over $785,000 as of March 20. Particularly gratifying is the Canvassed Donors category, which is running $14,000 ahead of last year and where there have been several increases. I am particularly pleased to report that Scotiabank has made a donation of $100,000, a $25,000 increase over last year. This is in addition to their $20,000 commitment as title sponsor of our golf tournament.

The Patrons Appeal, including pledges, is tracking $17,000 behind last year but Foundations are $12,000 ahead of last year and the Mail Appeal is up $11,500 YTD.

With the generous support of the business community in the Archdiocese of Toronto, we are well on our way to reaching our goal of $1.625 million for the Corporate Campaign and making a meaningful difference in the greater community.

Ahead of the Game Before the First Drive

(March 2008)  Major sponsors of the 2008 ShareLife Corporate Golf Tournament have stepped forward early and in force, ensuring all of our major sponsorships for the tournament have been filled this year. As a result, we begin the tournament already ahead of last year’s mark (as one major sponsorship remained unfilled in 2007).
