support network of programs, services and resources for the elderly

Providence Healthcare is a leading Toronto health
care facility for seniors, specializing in rehabilitation for patients
who have experienced strokes, orthopedic surgery, or lower limb
amputation, or who require specialized geriatric rehabilitation,
assessment and treatment. The agency also provides complex
continuing care, long-term care and community outreach with a particular
focus on addressing the medical, physical, spiritual and emotional needs
of seniors.

Society of Sharing offers friendly visits to
lonely, isolated, frail, elderly or disabled people. The agency provides
ongoing support to enhance quality of life and to extend independent
living by recruiting and screening volunteers, matching them with
clients, and providing training and education.
